About us

The Beginning: In December 2010, Bob Black & Terry Durstock were at a Christmas party when they discussed establishing an NKYFL team in Taylor Mill with Paul Castleman and Dan Woolley. A vote appointed Chad Dant president. In January 2011, their request for a territory congruent with Scott’s school district was initially voted down. However, in February 2011, the Raiders, Bengal Tigers & South Kenton territory was relinquished to create the Taylor Mill organization. Cheerleading was offered, and royal blue & gray were chosen as the colors. Originally considered the Mustangs, the name Taylor Mill Eagles was chosen to honor Coach Campbell. In March 2011, the bylaws were created, and the original officers were voted in. The first board meeting was held, and the organization was up and running. The mission of the Taylor Mill Eagles Youth Sports Inc, is dedicated to providing youth sports in our community. We strive to develop fundamental skills through active participation of our players and to promote good sportsmanship from our players, coaches, and parents.
